Fayetteville's Best Vegan Restaurants

Whether you're a fully committed vegan or just trying to cut back on meat and dairy, there are plenty of restaurants that offer vegan options close to ur apartments near University of Arkansas. We've compiled a list of three restaurants and their best vegan options for those of you seeking a little more freshness in your life.

This funky Fayetteville staple is popular for their burgers, but for the meat-free among us, they offer the Beyond Burger as a substitution at no extra charge. If that's not your thing, try a mouthwatering BBQ-style jackfruit taco or two (or three!). If you're visiting for brunch, served Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m., treat yourself to their hearty Southwestern-style tofu scramble.

Open for breakfast and lunch only, this cafe focuses on highlighting local food. The morning mushroom mash is a decadent blend of quinoa, potatoes, and vegan sausage, served with veggies and finished off with a creamy cashew sauce. For lunch, try the jasmine chickpea burrito, a curry-flavored concoction on a fresh, locally made tortilla. The cafe also has a build-your-own burger option where you can opt for an organic chickpea burger over a traditional one.

Three words: vegan cheese fries. Keep them all to yourself or share them with a friend. If you're looking for a more balanced meal, though, try the green pea fritter sandwich for a light and fresh lunch. Choose the beet sashay as a side, a fresh and flavorful dish of marinated beets topped with BBQ peanuts. Arsaga's is a family-owned and operated local business also known for its fantastic coffee, so don't skip the cup of joe.
