Appreciate Fayetteville's Art Three Ways

Fayetteville is home to a blossoming art scene, and if you want to enjoy it you need to know the best places to look. Let's take a peek at three of those places: a concert and orchestra venue, an art gallery, and a theatre all located near our apartments in Fayetteville.

Walton Arts Center

Northern Arkansas' largest arts presenter has a vision and a mission--to engage the people of Arkansas with great performers and entertainers. Beyond the usual concerts, they also bring in dance companies, Broadway shows, and more. Reviewers tout an incredible venue with friendly staff and a more intimate setting than larger arenas. The center hosts several festivals and balls each year, and they've implemented programs that help provide children with meaningful arts experiences.

Heartwood Gallery

Maybe you want to find a new piece for your home, or just want to enjoy experiencing the amazing art you'll find here. Maybe you want to support local artisans who show and sell their work at this top-rated gallery. 25+ artists contribute to this "ever-changing display of creativity", and you'll see any kind of visual art under the sun here, everything from basketry to woodworking to stained glass. Visitors describe this "eccentric setting" as an important part of "Funky Fayetteville".

Right now, this is a theatre, one with nationally acclaimed local productions and raving reviews. But what they're working on is much more important--a 50,000 square foot "permanent home for professional theatre." Not only will it merge two theatres, it will also house rehearsal space, workshops, and indoor and outdoor public spaces, among other things. TheatreSquared is committed to transforming lives and communities through art, and once its plans are completed, there's no doubt it will reach its goals.
